On July 9, 2024, a user named “Gostingr” uploaded a classified file to a data leak forum, aiming to release a substantial NSA database and claim that the data was allegedly obtained from Acuity Inc. data breach., a company that works closely with the United States government and its allies.

As the investigation continues, the NSA is expected to implement additional security measures to safeguard its data. The incident is a stark reminder of the ever-present threat of cyberattacks and the need to protect sensitive information.

Although the access method remains unknown, the Cyber Press team has contacted US government and NSA officials to notify them of the data leak and is currently awaiting their response.
